Looking at that makes me wonder what I could do to my Rustler! How much do you have invested so far?

Nice, but wait do I see a stock piece. Please, get coldfusion or someone to cnc you a piece for that lol. Are you also getting the all aluminum / steel insides tranny? What powerplant do you plan to run.

Hardly a rustler anymore ;)

I'm working with somebody to make me an upper chassis.

It won't be CNC'd but will be aluminum, so I'm waiting to see how it comes out.

Aluminum Idler and Cold Fusion Steel/aluminum diff will be going in, powered by a Lehner Basic 5300 and U-Force 75 ESC.

The only stock parts that will be left are the bell-cranks, lower part of the front body mount, top gear & shaft, slipper clutch parts, gears inside diff, and uh, oh yeah, the pins for the rear hex hubs, thats it.

I have about $250 just in FLM parts, I don't really want to think what the final total will be.

Couple of more pics.

The upper chassis and plastic body mount are now painted silver.

Aluminum body posts, front steering knuckles, rear bearing carriers, and front bumper have been added.

Wheels and tires are from a Jato, I'm planning to go with aluminum wheels but they sent me the wrong ones.

Still no gears in the tranny, but I do have all the parts to install.

Looks good. You got any pic with the electronics installed?

I have the same setup. I need to get the top plate made too. Where did you get yours done?

Nice truck. I have both a rustler and a stampede and one day they will both have the FLM total treatment.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
