Too bad Schumacher made it so darn expensive. The ESC I have with me is from the manufacturer and it is rated for 120A continous and 720A burst, plus it handles 4S lipos and I'm just waiting for pricing.
Feigao has a cheap 60A controller and if you look at www.speedpassion.net, they also have them. The motors might be ok, but the Speed Passion GT is not like the one I have. The GT only handle 3S lipos and has a burst of 600A. It's cool that the folks in rctech.net like to waste money like that and it shows us here the lack of a little knowledge that they have about brushless.
When our senior designer was in China, he attended a hobby electronics show. One company had a knock-off of our GTB controller in the booth. The guy told Adnan that his company built the esc for Novak. Adnan gave the fellow his Novak business card, and the guy couldn't speak English any more....
The Hobbywing products look like knock-offs of the LRP BL system.

I guess they liked the way the casing looks. I can definately tell you the MOSFETs they use are high quality, I had to take a look inside and was very impressed. I haven't seen a controller on the market yet with those kinds of MOSFETs.
