motor problem - 02.18.2008, 09:35 PM

I have a Neu 1512 1.5d f/h with the fan on the back of it. The rear of it where the fan is coming loose. The rear of it moves around alittle. I tried looking for away to take it off and see what is wrong, but I have no idea how to take it apart. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
David

I'd contact Neu for advice. You mean the rear endbell is loose? I've never seen a Neu with a fan on it- pic please?

suicide - I think there are some specific heli/plane motors made by Neu that come with a fan. The car ones don't because too much dust/debris will be sucked into the motor.

cola - I would contact Neu for help as well.

Cheers Patrick. Looks like an uglier version of the maximum with fan, but Im sure it serves its purpose (until it breaks like cola's did)....

I agree. Contact Neu.

I would skip the fan in a car application as well. No need for it and it just sucks junk into the motor. Most people cover the vent holes in the stock motors so the fan just takes the vent hole problem and makes it worse.

Id really love to se Neu come out with a Car version that has no holes like a standard Lehner.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Just stick a nitro air filter over the holes, cool and clean.
