I have 2 MGM24.160 and the brakes are just way too strong... even on the lowest settings... if you throttle lower than the current RPM, it will slow the motor right down... I need a firmware update, but don't want to send it to MGM... if you have the new firmware.. then it would be great...

Hmm sounds like I am better sticking to another HV110 and just thottle it down....especially since a Neu pulls down a truck quick once you let off. Also looks like MGM's are not the ticket either....

I would if I wasn't putting dual brushless into my GST.. :) the 40.160WK is the smoothest ESC I've ever used...

I have about 10 of them... I love them... They have constant of 100A... but on 12S, that's enough juice... I'm ordering 6 more tonight.... Each ESC can output 4440Watts of continuous power... for $100 that's is Just plane awesome... I've used this with one of my Savages and 7XL and 4S... works great.. only thing is.. you'll have to use mechanical brakes... which I don't mind...

Hmm how do they do with heat...does a heatsink need to be added? One thing I forgot though is will it work with a 4 pol motor though?

They work with 2, 4, 6+ pole motors... there is a heatsink installed.... just add a small fan for extra cooling... it's great...

The only thing I recommend doing is siliconing the Capacitors together.. or shoeGoo... they need to be secured better...

I wish my emaxx had mech. brakes......guess I'll just have to play with the throttle to slow the truck down on high speed passes.
