did you decide on a motor yet?

just to let you know: i placed an order with castle on the 30th of APRIL for a 1512 2D motor. paid the money via credit card and got a reciept. to this day i have not heard anything, ive sent many emails and the responses i got were along the lines of "we will check where you order is up to" etc... im not impressed. however i am impressed that i sent a package to them and its now on its way back (they only had it for 7 days) which should arrive soon...

so that 2-4 weeks is BS. i even paid for express shipping, but it hasnt even SHIPPED!! im pretty pissed of because i cant run until i get it...

better get some damn good apology, and they should change their 2-4 weeks to 2-4 MONTHS.

Hello.

Is that a good battery for Truggy http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...eu3s5000car25c ? I am thinking about 2 x 3S LiPo batteries in series , so two battery packs can be wired to 6S .

The motor can be cheap, but the main thing is that the Kv is low, so what are you guys thinking about 1100 - 1900KV motor and 6S ( 22.2V ) ?

Low Kv motor can be cooler than high Kv motor, so the bigger batteries and lower Kv motor would be good setup together.

I am trying to make same speed like an normal truggy with nitro engine.

low kv + high voltage = lower temps...the pack that you had a link to would be a very good pack to go with, I have a 6s pack with a Neu 1515/2.5d in a Revo and I am very happy with results ...I get 30 min run times

I was thinking the same with you about the temps. Thats very good to know :D .

2 x those Neu 11.1v packs in series and I will get cheap 6S LiPos .

Must find some low kv motors. I founded few in hobbycity, they are very cheap motors so they would be good for testing :D .

Btw. I bought 2,4Ghz Futaba 3PM FASST radios yesterday, and HongNor X1CRT Pro is in the process, now I am just waiting for them.

I don't know about the charger, motor and ESC yet. Can't wait when MMM come into stock again :P .

I have been send e-mail to Neu and Monster Mike, both of them have not been reply to me.

There are no budjet to motor, but I am just thinking that it is kinda impossible to get Neu because Mike and Neu doesn't reply back.

choose your motor. Click build it. Then wait 2 weeks for it to arrive.

I dont know what motor I should order if I am thinking to get smart speed with truggy, trying to get same speed like an original nitro truggy. 40-55Mph would be good speed I think, handling should be good enough.

1500Kv motor and 6S LiPos ( ~33,300rpm ) ? 2200Kv motor and 6S Lipos would be good setup too (~ 48,500rpm ) , but I dont know about the car handling in high speed.

I am thinking something like that.

So 1500 or 2200Kv motor would be good, and I can offcourse make different gearings etc. if there are problems with speed or temps.

What would be you choise ? 40-55Mph sounds good speed if we think about the good handling and driving.

So Neu 1515 1.5Y or 1Y would be good, which would be good choise to my setup ?

I think the 1Y is overkill with 6S batteries :P
