Mounting a Lehner 2230 to a 540 motor mount?? (FLM Savage Chassis) - 07.27.2008, 02:43 AM

Hey all - i have a savage with the FLM tranny forward conversion kit...

It includes the motor support mount for the larger 2230 - but the mounting holes do not line up on the face plate of the motor...

I was thinking i needed something along the lines of this...

I'm just not sure if this actual part will help me, because it doesn't quite look like the holes are offset in this picture?? or is it just me, and is that the part i need? -lol-

No, that is just to cover the holes in the front endbell of a neu, and provide some extra thread depth. You may want to email mike, he should be able to make you an adapter, or a new front support with the correct hole spacing.

Those are more for the 19 series Lehners and not he 22 series. I've sked here before and I think Mike has made one for himself. If Mike sees this thread, I need 3 for the 22 series . That will have stock 30mm mounting space and 25mm mounting space.

Try private messaging or e-mailing Mike. I got one made up that fit the 4mm screw holes of a Neu 1527.

Mike,

We spoke about it a few months ago on an e-mail I sent you. I have 3 22 series Lehners that needs the adapter. The bolt pattern on them is killing me and I can't figure out how to mount them on anything. My order is in for 3 adapter with 25mm M2.5 and 25mm M4 patterns on the same adapter.

Regards,

Luciano.

And isn't the 4mm holes on a 30mm center on 22 series?

Mike

I Pm'd you about these adaptors. Like Luciano I am looking for 2 adaptors with M3 and M4 = 4 adaptors.

Let me know when you can make the adaptors.

Mohan
