“FREE” Who wants it??? - 11.13.2008, 09:03 PM

Hey guys,
My AYSO soccer coaching days are behind me (thank GOD) cough (three years of hell) cough cough and I'm looking to donate my stuff to any future / inspiring youth coaches..

So if you’re starting out on your volunteer duty take a look at the stuff and see if you needed it!

Just please pay the shipping costs..

Thanks for your time team and have a great one

Shaun.

P.S.
Here is list of what you’ll be getting!;
1. 4’x5’portable goal net
2. red practice jerseys
3. tons of practice cones
4. Books (How to coach youth soccer, etc)
5. a cool stainless steel play holder / binder
6. a cool red soccer sport bag to hold it all in

Sorry I'm keeping my shoes, whistle and “It’s not easy being the soccer coach” shirt!.. LOL.LOL..

P.S.S.
Personnel NOTE: IMO!!
EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY!!! Win, lose or draw Please play everyone on the team equally, Yes you might lose, yes you’ll have your stars and favorites, But TRUST ME if you play everyone equally all of the kids really appreciate it and they will learn to play as a team not individuals IMO all kids need to learn to win and lose with grace and honor (IE) remember it’s for them!, not their parents and or you!! If you build there confidence now, they will have a positive “can do” outlook on life for years to come.. (hopefully!)

P.S.S.S.
The Kids are GREAT!; It’s their parents that caused all the problems…

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

I am a parent and because of a lot of PITA parents...I have no desire to coach...I no that that is terrible, but seeing what my Father went through 20 yrs. ago and today it is even worse. It is a shame that parents can't just let their kid's have fun.

OOoo they are great!, you sit them all down at the beginning of each season explain how your going to teach their kid and what your stance is towards wining and losing, ask for volunteers to help with certain (small things) and they think it great everyone gets to play and unfortunately no one has anytime to volunteer and later in the season I’ get email and call’s telling me who needs to sit down and which kid to play, etc. Again I ask / invite them to participate in practices but again they are just too busy.. Then you have the parents of one team wanting to fight over a stupid call with the kids of other parents WTF!! (that really shows the kids what it’s like to be an adult) Etc, etc, etc..

I can go on for hours, but I'm not here to discourage any and all newbie AYSO coaches.. I'm here to help you and kids get off on the right start at the right price..

So who up for it ??

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
