I hope that I can get some questions answered, I am changing over my RC8 with the Tekno V3 and a MMM Esc, what I need to know is, I want to run the car with a 5s Li-Po for club races and then if I go to a ROAR Race where the rules are 4s only, what Neu Motor will work for both Li-Pos. Also who else makes the 6.5mm bullet connectors besides CC. Thanks if you can help.---Jerry

The 1512/2.5d can run on both voltages. Just change the pinion gear for the speed you want with each voltage.

CC is the only one making the 6.5mm bullets that I know of.

Welcome to the forums!!!

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

+1 on the 1512 2.5D. Its a perfect track motor on 4s.

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

I run the 2.5D on 5S and it would still have plenty of power on 4S. Next time I get batteries I will be trying it out with 4S. Alot of people on here run it with either 4S or 5S. Are you looking at getting the Neu or Tekno motor?

Motor and batteries is the only thing I like to buy, just want to get the right things first. But want to go with Neu or Tekno Neu, is there a difference in these 2 motors?---Jerry

Have you tried Tower Hobby for the 6.5 connectors? They usually have them in stock, and I just ordered 3 sets which are on their way now.

MMM comes with 6.5 plugs on short pieces of wire with the other end bare. Plugs plug into the MMM itself, you can use whatever you like or direct solder the bare end.
