Ok, that's it for a couple more months.
Why did you delete the "Drag-Adjusted Vehicle Speed" portion of the speed calc?

I only see "Theoretical Maximum Vehicle Speed".

I used a "bottom" line.

Yeah, I gotta fix that. You must be using something other than Internet Explorer. I sometimes use the wrong slash ( \ instead of / or vice-versa) when coding and IE doesn't mind, but Firefox, Opera, etc doesn't like it. IE is just more forgiving...

I removed it because it's kinda useless. At high speed, ANY changes in body shape and other areas affects drag considerably. It sort of took an average drag estimate to compensate for the various setups, but it wasn't near accurate.

Will you be adding in the transmission ratio and such for a HPI Baja 5B/5T? There are people doing conversions now and it could become more popular and it'd be nice to include them in the speed calc.

Sure, what are the gear tooth counts? I add whatever information people provide.

Baja 5T:
19T Top Gear
30T Idler
48T Diff

Baja 5B:
20T Top Gear
30T Idler
48T Diff

EDIT: Stock spur gear is 57T, I believe the pinion on the CB is 17T.

EDIT AGAIN: Stock Dirtbuster tire diameter: 6.6875", Baja Badlands: 6.88", Desert Buster Arrow (5T stock wheel): 7.5"

Added Losi Muggy diff ratio. Also added diff/tranny ratios and spur gear for HPI Baja 5B/T.

Updates will be uploaded when the site comes back...

Thanks on both parts. I kept having to put in the Muggy ratio manually (I guess I should have dropped a message.)

Looks like we might have a permissions problem on the server?

No, I think they are restoring things again and that's just temporary. Yesterday, you would get a "Page cannot be displayed" error message, so there is progress.

lol, I thought of that, but figured you had enough traffic. I already have access to a "certain directory" anyway, but wouldn't want people to poke around trying see what else is in there.

But, if you don't mind, you could create an "rc_calc" directory on there, and give me ftp access. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a mirror of the site somewhere. Thanks for the offer!

Update:

Added shock dimension table, and a few of the shocks that I have in my parts bin. Hopefully useful for those doing custom jobs and need to know what fits...

Brian I think something is wrong with the gear ratio's for the HPI 5B and 5T, its telling me the ratio is .4...... which gives me a top speed of 360 mph I knew it was going to be fast but....... lol
Also I cant confirm it yet, but I was under the impression that the 5B and 5T were using the same tranny and gears. I will ask on the Baja forum to make sure.
Many thanks for adding the Baja data.
