What material do you use for balancing tires? - 03.22.2009, 03:29 PM

What material do you guys use for balancing tires? I was thinking I wanted to use some type of clay, but didn't know which kind works best for tires that are REALLY out of balance. Thank you.


4 out of 3 people have problems with fractions.

Self adhesive lead tape, swing weight tape from golf shop.

I CA glue on bits of lead weight...Great Planes brand from Tower seems cheapest for a lot of lead

I use poster-tak, that gummy stuff to hang posters on walls.

Plumbers Putty works great been using it for a while now without any complaints.
