Thoes of you using Zippy packs what balencer are you using? - 04.20.2009, 10:29 PM

The question says it all..........I currently have a Hyperion charger eos0606I

I have 2 zippy packs on order and am wondering where to get Hyperion 3s plugs that I can have soldered up to make an adapter for balancing...I have the jst plugs to hook up to the batteries just need Hyperion end so I don't cut and swap plugs on the lipo.

Maxamps sells the plugs, but the Align Taps that come with the zippys can be easily modified to fit with the use of an exacto knife or razor.

lba10 as well, works great with the mrc 989 as when charge is complete it holds constant voltage to cells for an hour , sweet feature to get the cells closely balanced without draining them any

I use an LBA10 with a harness off a newer charger (integrated balancer and you just plug a little adapter into it) and I swap out the adapters for different lipos. My Zippy used the Hyperion, Maxamps, etc. adapter and I had to buy a new one to fit my E-Flite lipo. Very good balancer and the swapable adapters work very well, cleanly, and efficiently.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
