email mike. he might be able to fix it. if you feel comfortable taking the shrink off i certainly would to see is there is anything wrong.

p.s.-did you see if the jumpers were on? red AND black? the black being missing might cause this.

I damaged a Warrior 9918 after a bad landing from a jump. Opened up the shrink wrap, to find that one of the parts on the bottom was chipped pretty badly. Mike sent me a part to try, but it still didn't work. So then I sent the controller to Mike, and he was unable to fix it, so he sent it to BK.

P.S. Mike, any info. about the controller?

It was originally damaged around the middle of August, and I think Mike sent it to BK around the end of October.

How do you mount the controller to the truck so that it wont get damaged? you cant exactly wrap it in bubble wrap cause of the heat, so what can you do?

Just make sure that the controller is not able to directly hit the ground. and pad it with some foam. the bottom of the pcb is rather fragile. i still don't understand why they don't make a standard esc holder. it would add some weight, but the safety might be needed in some cases.

I used two aluminium U-profiles to mount a controller.

Welcome to the excitement of burned out BL controllers. I've burned out 2 Warrior 9918s, and one MGM 12012. You don't know frustration yet ;).

well it dint smoke. And it still runs. So i dont think its burnt. Though there is a smell to it now.... Maybe its cuz it got hotter than usuall. Before, i the temps never went past 80. Thats cuz it was usualy 30 degrees outside
