Kinda makes you wonder why anybody even bothers with Nitro.

People like to tinker and the noise.. There is a couple of guys at the track that say if it all went electric they would quit racing.. It makes it a toy then... blah blah they go off on a rant after that.. then I plug my truck in and have fun while he curses at his RB Motor for not running right..

I was a die hard Nitro dude till 5+ yrs ago, I eventually converted everything or bought electric specific. As of now I wouldn't have it any other way. It's at a point when I run with friends bashing on weekends I can't stand the sound of the little tuner motor anymore. It flat out annoys me, when they run close me I get mad but I have to hold back to be nice. Then I crush them with my LST2 or wait till they flip over and watch them run to get it back upright while I run laps around their truck.
$30.00 a GL,glow plugs $6-10 each ,starter box-spin start ,tuning tools, constant temp checks via gun or spitting on the head etc. I'm over it all big time.
Plug and Play ! ! ! !

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

i really agree!!!!! the only bad thing about BL is you need a very stong drivetrain, but it's worth it!!!!! every time i hear a little ricer or tuner i think, their stupid! when i hear a nitro RC, i thing what a dumb idiot!

I'm not quit that harsh, To each their own. I'm just glad I know better.
On the track I don't mind the nitro's as much, It's "business".
Hearing it while bashing with friends annoys me ?

I think it is awesome. Not to even start a debate but I love both. I think projects like those are awesome and the truck looks good.

To some people running a nitro powered rc provides them with more of a challange then plugging a battery in does. If you don't think that running a nitro powered RC is more challanging then you probably haven't tried it yet. Ask Bondonutz if running a nitro rc is a challange. There is a lot to know and learn about. Lot of mistakes to make and damn is it expensive these days. When I read the comment that called the guy running a nitro an idiot. The first thing that came to my mind was "Idiot" also. Not a very intellegent comment to call someone an idiot without knowing if he is one or not. For example..... How do you know that idiot doesn't have four brushless rcs sitting at home but just chose to run a nitro that day. Is he still an idiot? Is an idiot anyone that doesn't do what you do or vote the same way?
