Got my 9918 today - 01.14.2005, 05:23 PM

My question where is the best place to mount the 9918 and UBEC? What is the best thing to mount it?

Thanks

Mounting pos - 01.14.2005, 05:46 PM

I mounted my controller in the rear behind the trans in the center of the chassis ( forward to back mounted not side to side ) that way the motor wires are not too long of a stretch to the speed controller - and my bec i wrapped in black tape ( to keep out dust and dirt ) and mounted in the front on my steering servo with double sided tape and a small zip tie - ( not to tight though )

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???

ok thats what I was thinking. I have some extra heatshrink from my battery when I build them so maybe I will use some of that to wrap the BEC to keep the dust and dirt out.

Thanks,
