Motor Choice - 01.04.2010, 06:13 AM

Hey there,
Currently in the process of converting my losi 8ight t 2.0 to brushless. Just wondering what motor everyone would reccomend. Have pretty much decided on the mamba monster 2200kw combo but just checking that this would be suitable. As i say I am open to suggestions

Many Thanks
Chris Turner

it will be nice that you will say if you are going for 3s/4s/5s/6s/10s here to at last select KV.

problem with MMM combo is that it got too high KV rating for 5s usage which is somehow taken as ideal for truggy.

yep the 2200 combo will work just fine in your truggy with a big 4s battery.

Id look into the Hyperion G3 vx series on here.

Works for me! MMM/2200kv/Hyperion 6500mah 4S 35c

Punch control set to 70% and a lower throttle expo curve to make it driveable!!

That kit is junk. Tray is to small for any of the nicer batts, and the Novak system is to small and underpowered. Will run HOT and suck amps like a $2 whore.

I would do MMM 2200KV or a Tekin RX8 system.
