hv motor sensor wire replacement

hv motor sensor wire replacement - 08.21.2010, 02:32 PM

anyone know who to take the hv motors apart so i can remove the sensor wire and solder a new one on?

This is one of those cases where, if you have to ask how to do it, you probably don't have the skills to get the job done once you have been told how. But just in case, here's how:

Remove front endbell and rotor
Remove the rear bearing cover
Unsolder the stator coil leads
Remove the rear endbell
Remove the sensor board
Remove wires from sensor board
Solder new wires to sensor board
Reverse the rest of the disassembly process.

i have the skill just wasnt sure if i had to desolder the stator or now
