for 6 pole motors you have to set the timing a little higher, like 8 deg.

ok, i setup the radio and left the settings as default. i had my mgm22418 in the truck and after only swapping esc i noticed i get slower speed and less punch. its not getting as much from the batts and the mgm did. there was no cogging at all, and it looks like this would be very good to bash with. i put it in a losi aftershock for my daughter to bash with me. after running for a few min. full speed on the road and some ditch jumps and through some semi tall grass the esc was only 89*f it was maybe 70*f outside at that time. i have high hopes for this thing working out beautifully for what i need.

i've very dissapointed about the need for a usb cable to update for 5s use. i missed that detail ordering now i have to wait.

I've been running this esc this winter in my snow-basher truggy (now mud-basher since the snow melted). I waterproofed it with liquid-tape and it has performed well.

Since I recalibrated my tx, the esc has been performing better than it was according to my above quote. Maybe I didn't calibrated it correctly to begin with, but it responds better now to the throttle.
