The largest one capable of 400A cont/700A peak and 63v (15s lipo/17s LiFe) for up to 25kw, sensored/sensorless (and two variations of this), individual lipo cell monitoring, different "throttle" signal input methods, able to use braking resistors, etc. Man, this is ESC porn!
Now, if MGM would up the voltage to ~90v (21s lipo/25s LiFe) while keeping the 400A cont rating for 36kw, it would be a killer motorcycle ESC since they seem to be around that voltage range.
It's too bad CC couldn't team up with MGM to help bring prices down and have a easy-access US division (for repairs and distribution).
wow, massive ESC. Only problem with MGM is the poor or non-existant customer service from what I've heard. As long as you don't have problems, good supplier for esc.
Well MGM repaired my esc "non-warranty". I mailed them and they mailed back. Send my unit to them and received it back repaired. Same as CC, no problems.
So i cant agree with you florianz.
good for you, some of the guys here wait for months for repair or even reply.
some have good, quite many not so good experiences. one guy literally waited one year and still no reply...
One guy discuntinued the mgm arcticles in his shop, due to the "special" support of the manufacturer. Good thing for customers: the few mgm esc available in his shop are sold very cheap...
I am really sorry that all this happened, dont know why would they help some customers and would not care about the rest.
Maybe try to call them and get them on the phone personally?
