Arrow Tell Me What You Think. - 04.17.2006, 07:33 PM

Hey everyone,
im just about to recive my e-maxx in the mail tommorow(tuesday).
im running gp3300's on it, 7 cell/w deans plugs and the 12 ga ultra wire:030: the usual:027:

just bought them off sylvester for a nice/fair pirce. 50$ CAN
however one bar that connect to the cells had disconected but still attached to the other cells.

Sylvester tryed to salder them back together but didn't work out, so i took of the solder and taped up the battery nice and tight.
because i don't really like how the bars are exposed and scared me that when i get my gorilla maxx chassis in alunimum that they will short to metal to metal contact.
the cells seem to hold nice n' snug because i taped them up with hockey tape, seems to hold better then all the other tapes.

tell me what you think,:018:
the gp3300's with the tape and without
"pics of my e-maxx will come in tommorow.":004:

I run a G2R and have run side by side packs with no protection other than the blue foam that comes with the chassis and have had no problems

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

If not soldered they are going to suck. the bouncing and vibratoin is going to make the loose and gain connection. I hope it don't fry an esc in process.

Peace!

Those tabs can only handle so much before they weaken. If you are running brushless the amps you are running through them will not help, so you need to solder it before it becomes a problem
