The 36120 has an rpm limit of 42000. With the cell's your running it come's down to 43,2 volt's.

The 2250 13 turn got a kv rating of 911 rpm per volt. So 911 x 43,2 = 39355,2 rpm. So that's ok.

The cell's you showed are worthless. They will not live under the high current the 2250 want's. You need some better quality, matched cell's like IB's and GP's.

That motor wil preform better on 16 good cells than on 36 bad ones.

What will you power with it?

that motor deserves good cells.

Are these batteries better? Vehicle is an emaxx.

Can the controller handle this type of power? What would the runtime be?

Why not just get some GP3300's off mike? Each cell is 5$, not bad.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

What kind of drive line you plan on running? This motor is going to shred some stuff up until you get it bullet proof. then it may break stuff every once in a while.

Believe this, he's used this motor and knows

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Those battery's are for radio's, AA size. To small and can't deliver the amp's. You need Sub C cell's, like these;

http://www.rc-monster.com/batteries.php

IB and GP are both the best nihm battery's at this moment.

The listing clearly stated "sub-C" cells in multiple places. From mike, 36 cells at $5 per cell would cost $180, not including connectors or bars. The cells on ebay are $25 for pack of 7and include connectors and bars. 6 packs of 7 cells at $25 is only $150 with connectors and bars. Enough for 6 6 cell packs and a 5 cell receiver pack, plus 1 extra cell to sell on ebay. Easy to see the better deal. Prices not factoring shipping. Now, would this set up be safe with gearing 51 tooth spur, and a 28, 29, or 30 tooth pinion?

Here is the ebay listing again
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...PCN_BIX_Stores

About how many amps would this pull and about what would the runtime be? Would this setup be too much power for the BK 36120 controller?

"Non Yet Match Battery Cell"- Which is a no-no when you want to build battery packs. The packs wont last as long as they should be..

I wouldnt search on ebay for batteries though.. The seller can say anything just to sell his stuffs. The batt can look brand new on the outside but you cant really know whats "inside". Go with the trusted seller like Mike.

P/S but if you insisted to buy on ebay which is obviously cheaper, then go ahead. But rememder, we all have told you about this..

You know you need about 20 cells (2000 watts) to reach the 60 mph?

what is your goal? it is nice to have a truck you can drive without worries. trust me on this one..

You right rene.
I have had my truck roll 3ft and was done in a play session. If you really want to go fast and do this that and other. I would really suggest lipo. The drive line will thank you for it.

If you interested for the right money I could part with a 2250 10t 26 gp 3300 and a 36120.

Peace!
