I dont know how it would work - 12.08.2006, 09:45 PM

I waa just looking on some websites and i came across this http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/produc...tial%20-%20Set. I might be wrong but if not let me know what you think or if it will work. Do you think this would work in a Maxx with either combo or hybrid bulks. If so would there be any benifits(because it is xray) like more smoothness. or whatever. If not just tell me and i would be glad to know i know there are better diff choices (like HB) but i was just browsing and was wondering if this would work and if there would be any benifit(also what kind of ratio do you think this is).

they would work, but these are hardened, http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...HPI_BUGGY_DIFF (not sure how good the xrays would work) these are proven to work in the hybrid's

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

The only thing I see wrong with the xray diffs is the 40 tooth ring gear. Regular buggy diffs have a 43 tooth ring gear. It might work, it might not...

Id just stick with the HB pro diffs. Proven tough for a great price.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

The only reason i was wondering was because it has a lower ratio than hb and it is xray(i thought it run smoother because it is xray) but i might be wrong i was just wondering.

yes 1/8 but beacuse of the lower ratio it might make more speed right also would it run very smooth because it is xray.
