Same one i use! The tips go pretty fast, though! But for 6 bucks, nothing to really worry about!

They do yes....if you clean them often, they last a little longer, but not much! LOL

Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience :020:. I ended up continuing to use my Weller 100/140watt gun, and then I payed the $100 for a Hakko 936-13. And I'm glad I did :018:. A good soldering iron is well worth the money.

I agree Metal, but for me, I no longer do my batts, so something that hot when I do wires can get a little messy, especially the smaller wires...

Same thing with me newe, im not planning on doing lipo packs so ill just stick with the Hobbico 60watt for all purpose uses ;)

Metal is right though, a hotter Iron is definately a must when it comes to batts. Then you don't have to worry about having it sit on the batt too long and can make a great solder joint.

Yea. I have found that anything over 50watts is good enough for sautering.
