Yeah, it's the easiest to make your controller/ubec/fans/LVC one device.

The Ubec/controller/lvc can combine the receiver wire. (it's not the 6V voltage that drops when the LVC 'kicks' in. the output of the ubec can be used to power 5/6V fans, and the input leads of the speedo can be used to take the measuring voltage from the LVC. that's what i thought about doing.. But you don't want to void any warranty, right?!

The gps is unneeded, since you got a GPS for your eagletree.. (not for the micro, though)

i noticed that when you go lipo...the mess of wires just increases.....hard to keep it clean looking

read the sticky in the brushless section. (some information about brushless in general) And yes, you can use both at the same time.
