I just got some 23mm Dace Adapters for my 23mm Velocity 40 series rims with bow ties. I havent raced at our track yet but in our yard they handle great. I would look into those or some Crime Fighters like braaap said on stock rims.

Revo Project....Batteries are for flashlights

By stock he means t-maxx stock rims which is a different offset than the revo rims so that would make your truck skinnier I think. Use stock velos with 1/2" offset even without the 23mms you should be fine and very light. I have changed my mind and I'm going to run what polaris and supermaxx4190 are running (23mm dace adapters with 40 series bowties on white velos.

Velos are good. I thought you were trying to lose weigth?. The bead lock rims are over 7 ounces each. So just in rims you have 2 lbs. Totally get the bead locks out of your mind unless you are building a truly show truck. There are so many screws on those rims. I think its 36 per rim, so thats 144 totaly. They are just a lot of weight and are going to be about 80+ for a set of 4.
