Outrunners supported/held by the shaft?

I've been looking at this one guys, 400 kv, 8mm shaft http://hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store..._(Eq:_4030_AXi)

What are your thoughts on that on sikes?

Zp I wonder if 1mm wall is enough? Then again going to a motor with a 10mm shaft will bump up the weight and size significantly. Just thinking about 2mm would be better for a hollow shaft.
