HV-Maxx or something else?

One essential thing to remember is your motor can only put out as much power as your batts can give it. An 8XL on 14cells will do the best part of 45mph, and will embarrase (sp) the HV maxx in terms of acceleration. An 8XL on 18cells will do 50mph without too much difficulty.
Coolhand has used 2 HV-maxxes in a truck, but says a 9XL on the same cell count blows them away. Believe me, your friend will be blown away!
