Considering the Castle BEC is rated at 10 amps, and the typical wires used for RX/Servo connections don't even support that, I don't think it's overcurrent from the servo.

I hope not cuz im sure I'm not the only one running the hitec 7950th. I'm gonna send them both back to Kansas tomorrow and keep the servo, maybe its just a coincidence. If it happens again then ill swap the servo, I've been wanting to try a Jr racing servo.
