Nice to see you took my advice and visited this forum! (you pm'd me at savage central, i am Buikpijn on SC)

You told me you didn't needed it to be more powerfull than the .21, well, with a BL setup, you don't have got any choice.. it IS more powerfull than the .21..

A friend of mine runs his Savage on 14 cells with a 2 speed transmission, mechanical brake and a 10L he geared it for a fast acceleration and measured a 37.5 mph (GPS) So, that would not need the kind of drivetrain hopups, like a 7XL on 18 cells, but it is one sweet, everyday bashing machine.. (that is what you are looking for isn't it?)

We raced with a savage .25 on a high percentage nitro (can't recall the number) he didn't had the 2 speed transmission in at that moment, but he accelerated faster then. and the 10L's topspeed was higher. So with the two speed transmission the difference would be even bigger on both parts!

He even managed on 15 cells to reach 44mph.. (it can do 16 cells too)

I am going to make a new motorplate the next week, i will give you the dimensions and a scaled picture.
