G-Maxx Steering Question - 07.12.2005, 10:40 AM

I need some help. I just built a G-Maxx truck. I am using the G3 Race suspension with the G2 X-Brace chassis. I am running Ingedy piggyback shocks. I have a Novak Brushless motor.

Love the truck, but I have a problem. My steering linkage is hitting the bottom of the shock where it mounts to the L-arm on both sides. Sitting normal, its fine. If the suspension is depressed, it hits. This only happens when its turned a little one way or another. Strait is fine. I have the stock turnbuckles with stock ends.

What can I do to correct this? I have the stock Steering bell crank setup, with aluminum posts. I would like to upgrade the entire setup to aluminum, but I want to fix the problem first.

Please help!
