In my xxx-t I just run it on the opposite side of the chassis in the usualy spot for esc's, plenty of room there. The usual hop-ups I reccomend are just titanium turnbuckles, titanium hinge pins, aluminum rear pivot block, and that should do it. The xxx-t is a pretty sweet truck, this picture of mine show's the setup I used.
