Limits of Compro controllers? - 09.30.2007, 05:36 AM

Hey guys,

I bought a couple of Compro controllers because I was using them for drag racing, due to the ability to program the "punch control." The drag racing thing is behind me. It got old quickly.

Anyway, I was getting ready to get another Quark, while I was waiting for mine to get back from S&T to run in my truggy. Although I've blown up quite a few Quarks, they are still the best in terms of smoothness and being able to get that instant burst of power for a standstill for some fun wheelie action.

My question is this. I have two 22418 controllers. Has anyone run these with the throttle delay set at the minimum? I'm just wondering how nuts you can get with the controller before the over current protection kicks in. I know that with my 16016, I could do much with it. If I set the delay to the minimum setting, it would just shut down immediately. Does the 22418 do any better with this?
