IMO, the 2700 is a pretty high RPM motor. I know my 4s gets warm on the 1515 1/y, not bad at all though.
To me, it sounds like you are way over geared. I would go with 8000 maxamp packs. Gear it more conservatively with that wind you have. Right now, with the Lipo;s you have, you are hitting 39,000+ RPM, which is not bad, but I would drop that a bit more and get closer to 35,000. Go to Brian's calculator and see what you can do. |
