This may sound crazy but when I'm on vacation, I often will grab the local phone book and lookup the local hobby store. Call, them and ask where the nearest off-road track is. Then I go and watch a race. I've found that in one or two calls, no matter where in the US I am, I can locate a track. So option one would be to make some calls to local tracks. Another great resource is this:

http://www.rccaraction.com/rc/info/rctrack_srch.asp

It's the track directory from RC Car Action Magazine. I doubt it is complete but it gives you a quick way to search for all tracks in your state. Check it out and definately get out there and race, it's amazing how much fun you can have and how great it can be to share the hobby with others. The guys at my local track have become some of my best friends and they have helped me to become a better mechanic and racer....check it out.
