HAHA, I do have a few vehicles, but far from all of them. I do have a savage on the way, which will be one of the last monster trucks still made that I have not converted.
I am actually going to buy a baja ss kit. Not going to convert it though. I have a few large scale gas boats, and really enjoy them, so I think that a gas powered vehicle like the baja would be fun. Plus I have a friend close who has a track setup for the 5b!
If I was going to convert one I would use a large outrunner, some sort of hv esc, and most likely a pair of the milwaukee v28 lipo packs. I may just leave them in the holders and make adapters for them to clip into the car. Not sure if 14s will be enough to move 20+ pounds around. 14s = 51.8v. 3ah x 20c = 60amps cont. 51.8v x 60a = 3108 watts or around 4 horsepower, that may not be enough. I may have to use 4 packs in 2s2p configuration of packs. I am sure that 8hp would be enough.
