Motor mount finished! - 04.05.2008, 06:34 PM

Ok got some work done today. Made the motor mount, and it works great. With the 47t spur it will allow pinions from 10t to 20t. I currently have a 14t on is, and it is in the middle of the adjustment. Adjusting is done by the stock nitro motor slots, all I did was tap 4 m4 thread holes in the motor mount I made. The 14xl is fixed, so all movement is done with the 4 stock bolts. Works fine and keeps the motor low to the chassis. I have no idea why more people do not make mounts like this, it is really simple and offers enough gearing options.

I also made the correct length spacers for the left side battery tray. Just need to install a few parts and wire it up. Will try to finish tomorrow, but I may be buying a piece of land.
