i just bash so i really just want it not to break under harsh conditions. i know i can break anything, so its all relative i am upgrading for reliability
what cant i get with 23mm wheels bigger hex's seems more reliable to me.
really, I'm just confused everyone says 17mm but 23mm is bigger and seems like it would be stronger

do different wheel hexes change the tire i can use?
The biggest disadvantage of 23mm is the limited number of tire/wheel options compared to the 17mm. Truggies use 17mm hexes and the market is with them right now. I still have to see and LPR wheel set in 23mm.

Don't get me wrong, the 23mm allows for more surface contact and are stronger. I'm running both 23mm and 17mm and I equally like them both .
