Building a speed run E-savage. - 11.11.2008, 09:18 AM

Started this a while ago, but it was put on hold due to drivetrain issues and the lack of a reliable, relatively inexpensive HV ESC. The mod list is pretty endless, everything from extended alloy arms, shotry MT2 towers, truggy shocks, CVDs, extended chassis plates, reworked steering setup etc. The release of some new alloy cased, reworked internally diffs by GCM and a new slipper setup has enabled me to run with this idea, the E-savage has always had weak diffs, it just needed someone to pull their finger out and do something about it.

Looking to go for a Medusa 70mm can around 1500kv with a 10s lipo setup using one of Lutach's 10s controllers. Still need to pick up the electronics and some suitable foams/rubber tires, whatever is recommended. Don't know about a final top speed, 1500kv at 10s is around 55k rpm unloaded.
