The PROTOform bodies are .040" inch lexan. I do not have my calipers here at home but I can say that the Kyosho body is not made from anything thicker than what you normally would find. They are expensive too since they are licensed models from real manufacturers.
I think my DM-1 Spec is shipping out tomorrow
. Did yours come as a kit or was it 80% assembled?
