My only concern would be that you might need to turn down the punch control. My 60mm brushless motor on my 1/8th buggy can break the steel CVD's right in half due to the sheer torque. I cant imagine what an 80mm motor might do. I'm thinking you are taking out the clutch assembly like everyone else and are going to run direct drive without any type of slipper clutch. Thats a lot of stress on the drivetrain in general.

So other than this and bold tires it shouldnt be a problem.
