If you dont want the center spool to shift in a dm-1, you just need these two parts numbers and it comes with the kit : 35230 (8x12mm flange ball bearing) and 35235 (clutch shoe carrier). You put the flange ball bearing in the rear of the spur and put the clutch shoe carrier in the front. You do not need to make a flat spot for the clutch shoe carrier. I been driving mine for almost a year and it never came loose when i use lock tite. Here's how it looks like : http://maxcapacitor.oplink.net/blunten/dm1center.JPG
