Prior to the bash I was able to remove the remainder of the mechanical brake components (linkages, pads, rotors) and that shaved a solid 2oz. off the truck. Next up was that nasty RX pack and the addition of the Hobby City HV UBEC, which I de-switched and added solder between the switch pads on the circuit board.

For those who showed up to the bash fully expecting to see this truck run, I apologize. Turns out the UBEC's switch turns it ON when the switch is in the open circuit position, hence why it wasn't sending any power to the RX.

Soon I shall throw this beast up on the scale. It wouldn't surprise me to see it just a couple ounces shy of breaking 12lbs.
