Running a car esc will make it so I dont have to buy pistix adapter, which I couldn't find... Or a new set of mech brakes ($20). That does ruin my entire "budget" plan... Then I will just want a nicer motor later. There is just something about making my car the same as the flux that I don't like...seems...lame. I am fine running single speed, as long as it runs fast, I am good. I thought it would run cooler? And better speeds? Thinking of gearing 15/49......

Makes me thing about this whole "budget setup," and being "unique and more powerful" then a stock truck (Flux).

You're probably right, linc. MMM is the way to go --- trusted, and powerful.

Edit....my K4.1 nitro engine is up to $41 on E-bay. The Xbox and Rc18 I am not worried about, but the motor I am pretty stoked on.

I am going to start a list. The motor I bought limits my battery to a 5s.... which means that if I do decide to upgrade in motor, another 3s pack, (combined with the one I already have) would give me 6s. OR, I could get 6s from the start, run balls-on-the-wall, and when it goes out, get myself a real motor. The way i see it now: The motor has already costed me $30, no reason to spend the price of a 3s on it....

Savage roller - check
Kershaw mount - check
Novak trays (going to drill holes in them and mount) - check
Tower order - misc parts, balancing adapters, wheelie bar, etc. - ____
Zippy 5s (wanted 6s, but due to my motors ideal RPM range being under 40k, that will not happen) - ____
MMM esc - ____
