Why do you say STe is better then CRT.5 ?
Tons of parts on ultimatehobbies.com and free shipping on the truck (159 shipped)

You are right there are not a lot of after market parts.. with that said it comes with as much aluminum as you would really want and fully updated and doesn't really need much in the way of hop-ups/mods. Great layout and handles like a dream, better shocks, arms etc. Other than a screw backing out, I've only broken the front sub bumper, the rounded part behind the bumper and twisted a rear dog bone (brushless power) in a year of use. Other than that she's been a brute. It's already the equiv of most extended .5's and again the price is nice. About the only real mod I've done to mine was drop on a set of Losi 8ight buggy front shocks on the rear, took seconds and they can take anything thrown at them. I race on 1/8 tracks so it's pretty rough on um too w/ the huge jumps. Anyway it takes a second for the mod, use the losi stand off's (dill out the hole slightly larger) and you can use the losi lower balls or swap the ball ends to the stockers, if you use the losi you may need to enlarge the hole just a touch on the a-arm to fit. Done.

PS the stock wheels are great on some tracks, but I like running 1/10 truck tires better, bit quicker on the track and I like the extra ground clearance.
