Was searching around and ended up finding this neat little trick. The only difference between the 2.0 and the 3.0 is the placement of one 1ohm resistor.
By removing this resistor entirely you gain the computer features of the 3.0
-4 model memory
-Model naming
Features like
-Deadbanding (for those poor nitros)
-exponential curves
-Adjustable frame rate
- and the list goes on
By taking that same resistor and moving it to a different spot on the board you get the 3rd channel.
I wanted the four model memory and didnt have a soldering iron tip fine enough to resolder the resistor to the board so i just plucked it off with a screwdriver

so my radio has all the computer features of the 3.0
