Interesting note about this engine. It doesn't have the traditional style of intake port on the crank. Notice in the cutaway view the slot in the top of the crank and in the little disc next to it. I'm guessing this and the intake+ exhaust port configuration in the sleeve was dictated by the fact the water jacket completely circles the cylinder sleeve. I always wanted a setup like this, but it would have to be a .28 or bigger for me to consider it.
