oo not sure how much of this is true but i had a conversation with my lawyer a while and his thoughts:

he said products in patent pending can stay in this status for a LONG time but is still protected somewhat. He thinks the patent can actually be hurried though. Also if his patent is issued, mike can sue the company for double damages. hes just not sure about how china is going to handle it.
