Thanks for the info. I've got mine up and running.
I soldered on some power leads and made a jumper from servo leads to short out pins 6, 8, and 10. This jumper stays in place all the time.  The reason I can leave the jumper in place is because I added a power switch to the input side.  So far, it seems to work well... |
