I just had to cut off about 0.5 inches, thats it. very easy mod, easy to cut with a saw. titanium is not that hard, but it's rugged, tough, but light. and the bloody aluminum chassis never got bent.
if the titanium doesen't make problems, you can leave it in. after more tan 2 years it's pretty hard to get out, anyways. and a shitload of hard work for the doc.
