Yeah, I am thinking it could be so. I just wanted a cheap brushed motor for wet land driving.

We haven't seen any issue with the SV2 in brushed mode -- but I'll certainly take a look at return history (when I get back the the USA) and see if I can find anything.

ALSO -- you might check your motor to see if the Kv is high -- if the magnets have weakened, it can be really hard on the controller.

The motor is new, only used four or five times. Yes I am using it in brushed with reverse mode. It's the 12t titan traxxas puts in the brushed stampede/rustler/bandit. Maybe the 3s is just too much. I can't find anything that references the KV on it.

The motor temps stay low enough, the temp gauge said around 130 I think when I initially took it on the first outing.
