Can I change the stock Spur and Pinion? -

Is it possible to get higher top speed than stock if I change the stock spur and the stock pinion, leaving everything else (motor wise) the same?
Like if I go with the 54 tooth spur and a larger pinion? Whats the relative limit before things start heating up real bad? Edit: I am talking about the emaxx btw. Forgot to mention b4. |
